The title of this research is the analysis of morphological and syntactic errors in President Joko Widodo's speech for the January 2015 period. Problem Formulation: 1) How are the morphological errors in President Joko Widodo's speech for the January 2015 period?; 2) How are the syntactic errors in President Joko Widodo's speech for the January 2015 period? Method: descriptive qualitative analysis. Conclusion: The analysis of morphological and syntactic errors in President Joko Widodo's speech for the January 2015 period is as follows: morphological errors in President Jokowi's speech for the 2015 period often occur due to the removal of affixes in a word, in addition to the abbreviation of the morphemes men-, meny-, meng-, and menge- into n-, ny-, ng-, and nge-. In language use, due to the influence of regional languages, the morphemes men-, meny-, meng-, and menge- are abbreviated into n-, ny-, ng-, and nge- in the formation of verbs. for example, in the word <ngalami> it should be experienced, <beri> it should be giving, the word <nyenggol> it should be nudging, <ngejek> it should be mocking, <make> it should be wearing, <nonton> it should be watching. Syntactic errors often occur due to errors in the incorrect construction of sentence structures such as in the sentence <alhamdulillah already, now met> is an example of incorrect structural construction, it should be <Alhamdulillah now I have met>. Syntactic errors also occur due to the duplication of the subject, namely the word 'I' as in the sentence <I saw yesterday, your rules are like this> the sentence should be I saw your rules like this yesterday>. In addition, there are syntactic errors due to the structure of regional languages such as in the sentence <If left alone, already ton, brought ton, right, put in prison, eh still controlling his drug business from inside prison> The word narcotics is a syntactic error that is influenced by the structure of regional languages, namely using the suffix -nya, another example is in the sentence 'the book has been sent to the office'.
