ANALYSIS OF SLANG LANGUAGE STRUCTURE IN KAWANKU MAGAZINE IN JANUARY 2015 AND PLANNING OF LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN TEENAGERS AS CONSUMERS OF KAWANKU MAGAZINE

Abstract

This research is a description of the analysis of slang language in Kawanku magazine for the period of January 2015 based on word forms, slang language structures, and development plans, which are motivated by the author's curiosity about the forms and structures of slang language found in Kawanku magazine for the period of January 2015 and development plans for Kawanku magazine consumers. This concerns the following problem formulations (1) What is the form of slang words in Kawanku magazine for the January 2015 period?, (2) What is the structure of slang language in Kawanku magazine for the January 2015 period?, (3) What is the development plan for teenagers as consumers of Kawanku magazine?. The aims of this research are (1) To describe the form of slang language in Kawanku magazine for the January 2015 period, (2) To describe the structure of slang language in Kawanku magazine for the January 2015 period (3) To describe the development plan for teenagers as consumers of Kawanku magazine. The method used in this research is the analytical descriptive method, and uses data collection techniques through documentation. The research object used by the author is the Kawanku magazine. Based on the results of the research above, the conclusions obtained are (1) In the friend magazine there are slang word forms, (2) the structure of the slang language that is analyzed uses more abbreviations, acronyms, word formation and composition. (3) there are many errors in the use of abbreviations, word changes and acronyms that are not in accordance with standards so more extensive information will be provided regarding language, especially slang or slang language which is developing more quickly in Indonesia. among teenagers today by using coaching approaches through outreach strategies for the use of my friend magazine, namely teenagers, especially high school students. Based on this research, the author recommends that teenage consumers of Kawanku magazine can use good and correct language in formal and non-formal situations.
