PSYCHIC VALUES IN THE NOVEL BAIT SURAU BY RAKHA WAHYU (as an alternative effort to select Indonesian language teaching materials in the 2013 curriculum in high schools)

Abstract

The title of this research is Psychic Values ​​in the novel Bait Surau by Rakha Wahyu (as an alternative Indonesian language teaching material in the 2013 curriculum). Problem Formulation: 1) What is the theme contained in the Novel “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu?; 2) What are the characters and characterizations contained in the Novel “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu?; 3) What is the conflict contained in the Novel “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu?; 4) What is the message contained in the Novel, “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu?; 5) What are the psychic values ​​contained in the Novel “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu?; 6) Can the Novel “Bait Surau” by Rakha Wahyu be used as an alternative Indonesian language teaching material in the 2013 Curriculum in Senior High School? Objective: to find out what themes are contained in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu, what characters and characterizations are contained in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu, what conflicts are contained in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu, what messages are contained in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu, and what psychic values ​​are contained in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu, and to find out whether it can be used as an alternative effort for teaching materials for Indonesian in the 2013 Curriculum in high school. The method used is the descriptive analysis method. Conclusion: the psychic values ​​in the novel "Bait Surau" by Rakha Wahyu can be used as an alternative effort for selecting teaching materials for Indonesian in the 2013 Curriculum in high school grade XII seen from Core Competencies (KI) and Basic Competencies (KD), as well as developmental psychology.
