PEBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM MEMPRODUKSI TEKS PROSEDUR KOMPLEKS DARI CERITA PENDEK “PISPPOT” KARYA HAMSAD RANGKUTI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TWO STAY TWO STRAY DAN METODE INKUIRI PADA SISWA KELAS X IIS SMA NEGERI 3 KUNINGAN TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning outcomes of students in the Indonesian language subject in class X IIS SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in producing complex procedure texts from short stories are relatively low. One of the external factors that influence learning outcomes is the learning method. The formulation of the problem in this study is as follows. 1) How are the students' learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the two stay two stray method for class X IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year? 2) How are the students' learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the inquiry method for class X IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year? 3) Is there a difference in student learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the two stay two stray method and the inquiry method for class X IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year? This study uses a comparative descriptive method, using literature study techniques, observation, teaching and learning processes, and tests. To determine the difference in student learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the two stay two stray method and the inquiry method for class X IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan, a t-test was conducted. The results of the analysis concluded that: 1) student learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the two stay two stray method for class X IIS students of SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year, are good. This can be seen from the average value achieved, namely 73.58, which can be categorized as good. 2) The students' learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the inquiry method for students of class X IIS SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year are sufficient. This can be seen from the average value achieved, namely 67.94, which can be categorized as sufficient. 3) There is a significant difference between the students' learning outcomes in producing complex procedure texts from the short story "Pispot" by Hamsad Rangkuti using the two stay two stray method and the inquiry method for students of class X IIS SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan in the 2014/2015 academic year. This can be seen from the results of the difference test with the t test which states that at a significance level of 0.05 (95% confidence level), the t table result (2,000) < t count (2.45). So the hypothesis is accepted.
