Abstract

The title of this research is Analysis of Dialect, Vulgar, and Slang Language in Writing Facebook Status of High School Students Who Joined Anita Setiarsih's Facebook. Problem Formulation 1) How is the dialect language in writing Facebook status of high school students who joined Anita Setiarsih's Facebook? 2) How is the vulgar language in writing Facebook status of high school students who joined Anita Setiarsih's Facebook? 3) How is the slang language in writing Facebook status of high school students who joined Anita Setiarsih's Facebook? Method: descriptive qualitative method. Conclusion: 1) the use of dialect language in writing Facebook status of high school students, in the use of dialect language, the dialect used is Sundanese dialect, where the dialect used is adjusted to the residence of the Facebook account owner. The dialects used by each Facebook account owner are almost the same, the only difference is the different word forms but have the same meaning such as the words aing - uing, bae - wae, oge - keding, we - weh, boga - gaduh, miluan - iluan, siga - jiga, this difference is adjusted to the dialect of each place where the Facebook account owner lives, in addition there are also words mah, asa, da, bae ah, atuh, pan, aih, and so on. 2) the use of vulgar language in writing Facebook statuses of high school students, in the use of vulgar language, the choice of words used tends to be more rude and impolite, and more use of animal names such as dogs and monkeys. In addition, there are also those who use the words devil, devil, stupid, tai and najis. This word is used by Facebook account owners, not that they are uneducated, but this word is used as a way to express their anger. 3) the use of slang in writing Facebook statuses of high school students, in their Facebook statuses the slang used is often in the form of abbreviations, such as: LDR (Longdistance Relation Ship), BM (Blackberry Messenger), DC (Delete Contact), FB (Facebook), OTW (On The Way), GWS (Get Well soon), in addition to the abbreviation form there are also those using the number 2 behind it such as: mudah2n, lebih2, as well as in other slang languages, namely: gw, gua, gue, lo, lu, luh, pengent, binggow, brohh, dolo, tidor, ngape-ngape, delcont and so on.
