The title of this research is Analysis of Characters and Characterization and Conflict in the Drama Script " Bapak" Viewed from Communication Psychology. Problem Formulation: 1) How are the characters and characters in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto?; 2) How is the conflict in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto?; 3) How are the characters and characters in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto viewed from communication psychology?; 4) How is the conflict in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto viewed from communication psychology? Research Objectives: 1) Want to know the characters and characters in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto; 2) Want to know the conflict in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto; 3) Want to know the characters and characters in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto viewed from communication psychology; 4) Want to know the conflict in the drama script " Bapak" by B. Soelarto viewed from communication psychology. Method: qualitative descriptive analysis. Conclusion: The conflict is the difference in principles held by each character and betrayal of the country. The characters and their characteristics consist of the Main Character (Protagonist) namely the Father, the Protagonist Character namely the Eldest and the Tritagonist Character namely the Youngest and the Officer. The characters and characteristics are connected to the psychology of communication, seen from the content of the message of each dialogue, the father character is full of very appropriate beliefs, the eldest character tends not to want to give in, the youngest character wants to immediately solve the problem and the officer character always helps other characters. Seen from the thought process, the father character has long thoughts. The eldest character has unnatural thoughts. The youngest character and the officer have good thoughts, even though he is busy with his military. The conflict is connected to the psychology of communication, namely seen from the content of the message that each dialogue has its own meaning. Seen from the thought process between the characters are very different, including the father character, he has long thoughts about his future. The eldest character has short thoughts, he wants to immediately move to a foreign country, namely the Netherlands. Seen from the stimulus response that occurs, every stimulus of the characters is only responded to without being acted upon.
