Abstract

Almost four years have passed and the loud echo of the proclamation of Indonesian as an international language remains faint even though it is believed that as mandated in the Language Proclamation - KBI X itself, everything is going naturally towards a goal that is actually not right to be called a goal because that goal has been achieved and together with that goal everything is going now. The following short paper tries to record all the simple background events that underlie the proclamation of Indonesian as an international language, the digital version of which was uploaded via Facebook, while the written version was published in the Tribunnews daily published in Kalimantan.
