ABSTRACT: Reading material is a source of information that readers must explore. In this digital era, reading sources do not have to be in printed form, there are many digital platforms that can be used to obtain reading material to suit the needs/level of the reader. One of them is by utilizing the platform of the Ministry of Education and Technology's Language Development and Development Agency which provides selected digital versions of reading materials with various themes. The aim of this research is to explore information from one of the reading materials that has been designated as literacy reading material in accordance with the theme of the National Literacy Movement as a reflection of one of the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum, namely global diversity, as well as to introduce Indonesian culture to readers, especially children with interesting children's stories accompanied by colorful illustrations. The data source was obtained from a children's story entitled "A Pair of Eyes" by Veronica W. using a qualitative descriptive method. The results obtained are reflection on global diversity, namely knowing and appreciating culture, intercultural communication skills in interacting with others, reflection and responsibility for experiences of diversity, these dimensions are reflected in the characteristics of the characters Kinan, Hanna, Edita, and their families. Thus, before giving reading material to children, parents, teachers or adults should first know the contents of the book, so that it can be adapted to the child's condition. It is hoped that the results of the reflection on global diversity in this research will be able to increase the attractiveness of getting to know and appreciate the diverse cultures of the archipelago as an open materials development.
