ANALYSIS OF PHONOLOGICAL LANGUAGE ERRORS IN FACEBOOK POSTS

This article aims to analyze language errors at the level of phonology in the form of phoneme omission in Facebook posts. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a focus on identifying and classifying the types of phoneme omissions that occur in sentences written by social media users. The research data were obtained from various purposively selected Facebook posts, which were then analyzed to find patterns of phoneme omission, both in consonants and vowels, as well as factors that influence the occurrence of these errors. The results of the analysis show that phoneme omission often occurs in words that are influenced by the factors of non-standard writing habits, the influence of dialects or regional languages, as well as speed and limitations in typing. This research is expected to provide deeper insights into the dynamics of phonological errors in the context of digital communication as well as their contribution to language variations that develop on social media.
